The TaylorMade R11 17° 4-Wood, released around 2011, is a highly adjustable fairway wood featuring a white crown and black face for easy alignment, a 17° loft for higher launch, and TaylorMade's Flight Control Technology (FCT) and Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) for fine-tuning loft, face angle, and shot shape. It offers a deeper face and lower center of gravity for penetrating ball flight and reduced turf drag, making it effective both off the tee and fairway. Paired with a Fujikura Blur 70g graphite shaft, the R11 4-wood is praised for its versatility, feel, and forgiveness—still favored by many golfers today for its performance and adjustability.
