The 2012 Avanti Discovery 2 is a comfort-focused hybrid bike ideal for commuting, leisure riding, and light trails. It features a lightweight ADT 6061 alloy frame with a low-step design for easy mounting, a suspension fork for added comfort, and a mix of Shimano components including an Altus rear derailleur and a Nexus 3-speed hub for smooth, reliable shifting. Braking is handled by a front alloy V-brake and a rear coaster brake, while wide 700x38c Kenda tyres and a cushioned saddle ensure a smooth, upright ride. With practical additions like a full chain guard and platform pedals, it’s built for low-maintenance, everyday use
